Hello, I’m Maranda

Love, life, and the moments that change everything

A wedding and portrait photographer specializing in couples, weddings, and maternity storytelling across Michigan. Capturing real, unposed emotion since 2017 with 40+ couples documented. Known for chasing light, quiet in-between moments, and still getting emotional during vows.

A storyteller at heart who captures life as it really is — messy, beautiful, and completely unfiltered. I don’t do stiff poses or cookie-cutter sessions; I focus on the real connections, the quiet moments, and the little details that make your story yours.

Whether it’s a wedding, elopement, or a casual family afternoon, I work within your budget and on your terms, so you feel supported and comfortable every step of the way. My sessions are timed, flexible, and always centered around what matters most: your story, your people, your memories — preserved exactly as they happen.

I’m here to help you relive those moments for years to come, without the stress or the pressure of doing it “by the book.”

ME, & ONLY ME

Everything you receive is done by me — from the moment I show up with my camera to the final edits you see in your gallery. No passing things off, no other hands in your story. Just me, staying with it from start to finish.

When you book me, you’re not hiring a team or a system. You’re trusting one person to notice the quiet moments, to feel the energy of your day, and then to sit down later and piece it all together in a way that feels like you lived it all over again.

I stay close to the work because it matters to me that nothing gets lost in translation. The emotion, the in-between glances, the way a moment felt — that’s the part I don’t want to miss.

A simple, guided experience from inquiry to final gallery – so you can focus on being present while I handle the rest.

1. Consultation

We’ll connect to talk about your vision, answer questions, & plan your session so everything feels intentional & stress-free.

A video call or in person meet

2. Session Day

This is the fun part. I’ll guide you through everything so you can relax, be present, & enjoy the experience while I capture it naturally.

3. The Edits

The magical part. I carefully hand-edit each image to match my style & ensure your gallery feels cohesive, warm, & timeless.

4-8 weeks post production
